Ashley joins the Foundation from Georgia Tech, where she served in a senior financial management role overseeing complex financial operations within one of the nation’s leading public research universities. During her tenure, she managed budgeting, grant administration, payroll, financial reporting, reconciliations, procurement approvals, and sponsored project accounting, bringing extensive expertise in accountability, compliance, and higher education finance to our organization.
Before moving to Panama City in 2023, Ashley was born and raised in Georgia, where she built both her education and professional career. After graduating from high school in Savannah, she proudly served four years as a medic in the United States Air Force. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in English Language & Literature from Savannah State University and an MBA from Shorter College in Atlanta.
Ashley’s professional experience spans both private and public higher education administration, including leadership roles in accounting, finance, financial aid, admissions, grant management, and institutional budgeting. Her experience managing state funds, foundation funds, grants, and revenue operations makes her exceptionally well-positioned to help lead the Foundation’s financial strategy and stewardship efforts into the future.
