Our Donor & Scholar Celebration brought together our scholarship donors and the students they support for a morning of conversation, connection and celebration. It gave our donors the chance to meet the students behind the scholarships and our scholars the chance to sit across the table from some of the people who are cheering them on.
We heard from our student speaker, who shared his own journey at Gulf Coast, as well as Dr. Carlton Schwartz, who spoke about giving back and the importance of supporting education.
But some of the best moments happened around the tables. Stories were shared, connections were made and our scholars had the chance to talk about where they’ve been and where they hope to go next.
Scholarships may bring us together, but it’s the people, their stories and what they’re working toward that make this work so special.
