In order to be eligible to apply for a Foundation scholarship, an applicant must be officially accepted into Gulf Coast State College. This includes all dual-enrolled high school students. Applicants must also be able to log-in to his/her MyGCSC portal and have an active Gulf Coast State College email account.
REQUIRED APPLICATION STEPS
Step 1: (Admissions) Apply for and be accepted into Gulf Coast State College. Admissions applications are available online. Once admitted into the College, an applicant will be assigned a Gulf Coast State College student ID number beginning with an “A” (i.e. A00123456).
Step 2: (IT Set Up) Set up (or have an active) MyGCSC portal log-in and Gulf Coast State College email account (@my.gulfcoast.edu). If you need assistance with your set up or activation, please contact the GCSC IT Help Desk at (850) 913-3303.
Step 3: (Financial Aid/Optional) Consider applying for financial aid via the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Gulf Coast State College school code is 001490.
Step 5: Log-in to the Foundation’s scholarship site (instructions are located on the log-in page) and complete the general application. Make sure the scholarship application is ‘submitted’ by signing and dating the form.
