Mr. Joe Hamner and his wife, Judith Buhat Hamner, recently endowed a scholarship that will benefit Filipino American students. The Judith Buhat Hamner Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to a student who maintains a 2.0 GPA and is enrolled at Gulf Coast State College or Florida State University. The student candidate will be required to be involved in extra-curricular activities, be of Filipino decent along with submitting an essay and interviewing with the Fil-Am Scholarship Committee.
Mr. Hamner is an advisor to the Foundation and has served as President of the Board of Directors. The Foundation is grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Hamner for their generous donation that will provide financial assistance to Filipino American students to continue their educational pursuits.
