Endowed Scholarship Nomination

STEPS:

  1. Click the link and go to the Foundation’s electronic nomination form – FORM LINK
  2. Enter information into the fields and submit. Please do not use a student’s Social Security Number.  Usage is prohibited.

REMINDERS:

  1. Make sure your nominee has applied and been accepted into Gulf Coast State College.
  2. All roads to scholarships run through the Foundation’s general scholarship application – make sure your nominee has completed a Foundation scholarship application.
  3. Make sure your nominee gives you his/her GCSC student ID number (A00123456). Do not use social security numbers!
  4. If no ID is available, you must have their Date of Birth (DOB) noted.
  5. Make sure you note your nominee’s mailing address
  6. Make sure you note the name of your scholarship on the form.
  7. You can add up to 5 nominees on the form.
  8. There is nodue date’ for submittal of nomination forms. We would prefer by August 1st.
Endowed Scholarships – These are permanent endowed scholarships where you or your organization has chosen to select the recipient. Your scholarship or scholarships will be available each year. The amount of the scholarship award is fixed and determined each year by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Nomination forms are electronic and once completed will be sent directly to the Foundation.

Temporary Restricted Scholarship Funds (Awards) Nomination

STEPS:

  1. Click the link and go to the Foundation’s electronic nomination form – FORM LINK
  2. Enter information into the fields and submit.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  1. Make sure your nominee has applied and been accepted into Gulf Coast State College.
  2. All roads to scholarships run through the Foundation’s general scholarship application – make sure your nominee has completed a Foundation scholarship application.
  3. Make sure your nominee gives you his/her GCSC student ID number (A00123456). Do not use social security numbers!

Scholarship Awards – These are temporary scholarships where you or your organization has chosen to select the recipient. The award amount ($) will be determined by you or your organization. These scholarships will be present each year depending on available funding. If you need assistance on determining your current fund balance, please contact Dunkin McLane. Nomination forms are electronic and once completed will be sent directly to the Foundation.
