Dunkin, a Panama City native, graduated from Gulf Coast State College (formerly Gulf Coast Community College) and Florida State University where he earned his Associate in Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. Later, he graduated from the University of West Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He gained experience working as an auditor for the State of Florida’s Comptroller’s Office, a staff accountant for a regional accounting firm, a grant writer for a regional non-profit and as a business manager for WPGX-TV/Fox28.

Dunkin came to the Foundation in 2006 as a financial coordinator. He currently oversees the Foundation’s business and scholarship operations, which includes financial reporting, financial audits, planned giving, and scholarship administration. His volunteer activities include working with Children’s Home Society, St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club, Junior Achievement, and various youth golf organizations.

Dunkin and his wife Edwina have two children – Samuel and Julia.
