Endowed Scholarship Established For Former Board Member

The Foundation is honoring the memory of Dr. Jim Anderson by establishing an endowed scholarship. Dr. Anderson spent 35 years as a history professor at the University of Georgia and was known for his gentle nature and love for education. Dr. Anderson served on the Foundation board from 2008 to his death including serving as President in 2013. This endowed scholarship will be a tribute to his civic and professional life that he dedicated to providing students support to pursue their educational dreams.
