Military

It is commonly believed that a chief benefit of serving in the U.S. Military is the opportunity to obtain a college education. Yet too often benefits such as tuition assistance and housing allowance, fall short of meeting all the financial needs of aspiring active duty, veteran, and dependent spouses. Unforeseen events, like a spouse’s loss of income or the cost of home repair, often make it impossible for a student to stay in school. Please help the Gulf Coast State College and the Gulf Coast State College Foundation provide an exceptional education experience for our heroes so that they may realize the American Dream so many of them fought to preserve.

Your memorial or honorary contribution to the Gulf Coast State College Foundation not only pays tribute to your friend or loved one, but also enhances the life of a student with education and encouragement. You might also consider creating a scholarship fund in honor or memory. You can make a tax-deductible contribution to the Foundation in memory of a friend or to honor a loved one’s birthday, graduation, marriage, or other special occasion.

Endowments

An endowment can change the life of an individual, and in doing so, can change the life of a family. As a donor you can provide lifelong support by creating a scholarship or program endowment today. An endowment stays with the Foundation in perpetuity because the principal stays intact. Only the earnings created by principal can be spent.

An individual, family, group, or business may contribute directly to an endowment anytime. Endowments do require written agreements. This ensures that the donor’s intent is carried out fully in the years to come. All agreements are signed by the Donor, the Foundation’s President and Executive Director.
