Local Magazine Raises Money For STEM Camps

Grand Lagoon Life, a monthly lifestyle magazine, recently hosted an event at the Sheraton Panama City Resort to raise funds for 2021 STEM camps. Neighbors Night Out, which included appetizers, drinks and live entertainment, raised $900 for scholarships for the camps offered at Gulf Coast State College during the summer months. These camps provide students opportunities to explore STEM in ways that relate to their lives and communities. This past summer STEM camps hosted over 600 students from third to tenth grade.
A huge thank you to Grand Lagoon Life and their support of STEM learning at Gulf Coast State College.
