Simply Health Scholars Program to Receive Donation for Student Scholarships
Panama City, FL—The Gulf Coast State College Simply Health Scholars Program has received $100,000 in additional funds for its next scholarship cycle.
On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Simply Healthcare presented a check to the Gulf Coast State College Foundation. This will mark the fourth time that Simply Healthcare has funded the scholarship, contributing a total of $350,000.

Simply is a Florida managed health care plan that currently serves approximately 700,000 Medicaid members in Florida,” says Corray Boughton of Simply Healthcare.”

That’s why We’re thrilled to announce our latest grant of $100,000 to the Gulf Coast State College Foundation. This financial aid is specifically designed for nursing students who pledge to serve Florida’s rural counties for two years post-graduation. This endeavor symbolizes our trust in the students of Gulf Coast State College as future champions of healthcare.”

These scholarship funds will fully cover tuition and associated costs for select nursing students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in the Fall 2024 semester. Students who reside in Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Franklin, or Washington counties are encouraged to apply now.
