Application Steps
Gulf Coast State College Foundation scholarships are offered annually to anyone attending or planning to attend Gulf Coast State College. Most of the scholarships are awarded for one academic year. In most cases, the Foundation will require scholarship recipients to have a Foundation general scholarship application on file. There is no application fee.
In order to be eligible to apply for a Foundation scholarship, an applicant must be officially accepted into Gulf Coast State College. Why? Applicant data (name, address, major etc.) is uploaded from the College into the Foundation’s general application. If an applicant is not officially accepted, data will not appear on the application and it will be voided. Applicants must also have access to MyGCSC and have an active Gulf Coast State College email account.
High School Seniors, Dual Enrolled Seniors, and New Students:
Step 1: Apply for and be accepted into Gulf Coast State College. An applicant should have an assigned Gulf Coast State College student ID number beginning with an “A” (i.e. A00123456).
Step 2: Set up (or have an active) Gulf Coast State College email account (@my.gulfcoast.edu)**. If you need assistance with your setup or activation, please contact the GCSC IT Help Desk at (850) 913-3303.
