Scholarships Established To Honor Language and Literature Chairs

Two scholarship funds have been established to honor former Gulf Coast State College Language and Literature chairs. The Michalle Barnett Memorial Scholarship fund and the Joyce Buttermore Memorial Scholarship fund will be awarded each year to students who are majoring in Language/ Literature or Communications. These recipients will be chosen by faculty and staff from the Language and Literature department.
