Scholarship Established For Practical Nursing Students

A scholarship has been established for students interested in becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse through Gulf Coast State College.

The Rhonda P. Mayo Nursing Scholarship was created by Gulf Coast State College Foundation advisor Mr. Clint Mayo and his wife Mrs. Rhonda Mayo. The award will assist students with financial need and have a desire to excel as a nursing student. Preference will be given to nursing program participants accepted into the Practical Nursing program at the Gulf Franklin Center with selection being made by the staff and faculty of the program.

The Foundation expresses their gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Mayo for their generous donation to benefit Gulf Coast State College Nursing students.
