The Gulf Coast State College Foundation website received a Silver ADDY Award
at the annual competition of the American Advertising Federation held March 18,
2020 in Panama City. The website was redesigned for ADA compliance, by Kerigan
Marketing Associates, in 2019. The Kerigan group led all Panama City agencies
with 9 ADDY awards.
The American Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards is a nationwide
recognition of excellence in advertising. “The selection of an ADA-compliant
website for a creative award shows that great design and consumer usability can
co-exist,” said Dana Kerigan, President. An additional ADA-compliant website
designed by Kerigan, for Jackson County Tourism, won a Gold ADDY.
Other awards received by Kerigan included a Gold ADDY and Best in Show
for the Gulf County Tourist Development Council’s 2019 Visitor Guide. Additionally,
Kerigan received a Gold ADDY and Judge’s Choice Award for the Eye Center
of North Florida’s PanOptix Cataract Lens campaign. The agency earned Silver ADDY’s in two categories for Enterprise State
Community College including their “Mechatronics” program Google Display ads and
vehicle graphics for the Commercial Driver’s License program. Design for lobby
window graphics at The Eye Center was awarded a Silver ADDY.
“Obviously, people are facing difficult
challenges right now,” said Dana Kerigan, “so it’s a sensitive time to
celebrate. But, our staff and clients worked very hard to achieve these results
and we want to take time to show we care about the good work they are doing.”
