Gulf Coast State College proudly marked the groundbreaking of its new 31,000-square-foot Nursing and Simulation Center, a transformative investment in healthcare education for our region.
The state-of-the-art facility will feature advanced simulation labs, including a four-bed hospital suite and virtual-reality learning technology, providing students with hands-on, real-world training.
Designed to meet growing workforce demands, the center is projected to prepare more than 900 nurses and 200 emergency professionals while supporting over 2,500 healthcare certifications.
This milestone reflects the College’s continued commitment to building a strong, skilled healthcare workforce for our community.
