Foundation Receives Scholarship Grants

The Gulf Coast State College Foundation recently received $22,566 from the Florida College System Foundation to fund scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year. $5,700 will be used to fund the Bank of America Dream Makers Scholarship program that will help first generation students with tuition, books, fees, transportation and childcare. $12,387 will be used to fund the 2019-20 Florida Blue Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship program that will help nursing and health science students cover the costs tuition, books, fees and exams. This scholarship program is depended on a local match. The final $4,479 will be used to fund the Helios Education Foundation First Generation Scholarship program that will help first generation students who are seeking a career in education with tuition, books and fees.
