Foundation Receives $15,000 Grant from Verizon Wireless

A grant in the amount of $15,000 was recently awarded to the Foundation from Verizon Wireless. These funds will be used to support STEM camps for students in eighth through tenth grade . The overall goal of the camps is to reach low income students in Bay County to increase their interest to pursue STEM careers. Along with the daily camp experiences, participants will also be exposed to a college environment. Each week long camp will provide hands on learning opportunities with an expo event to the public held on Friday.
