Faculty Select Scholarship Nominations
Submitting your nominations:
- Click the button below to find your scholarship opportunities
- Submit your electronic nomination form (instructions noted below).
REMINDERS:
- Review the Foundation’s Scholarship Conflict of Interest Policy
- Please make sure your nominee has a Foundation scholarship application on file before you submit your form. Please email Dunkin at [email protected] if you want to verify that an application has been submitted.
- Make sure you have the nominee’s Gulf Coast State College ID (A00123456). Please do not use Social Security Numbers!
- If no ID is available, you must provide their Date of Birth (DOB)
- Make sure you note the name of the nominee’s scholarship
- There is no ‘due date‘ for submittal of nomination forms. We would prefer by August 1st.
- Remember your faculty selected scholarship opportunity can be used in conjunction (or stacked) with other general scholarship opportunities. This means that a deserving student can benefit from having a general scholarship and a faculty selected scholarship at the same time.
NOMINATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS:
Endowed Scholarships – These are permanent endowed scholarships where the donor has chosen a Gulf Coast State College faculty or administrator to select the recipient. These scholarships will be presented each year. The amount of the scholarship award is fixed and determined each year by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Nomination forms are electronic and once completed will be sent directly to the Foundation. You must be able to login to your MyGCSC account to access the nomination form.
- Log into your MyGCSC account
- Go to the GCSCNET link
- Go to Forms/Foundation
- Click on the Scholarship Endowment Nomination Form – Faculty Select link
- Complete and Submit
Scholarship Awards – These are temporary scholarships where the donor has chosen a Gulf Coast State College faculty or administrator to select the recipient. In some cases, the award amounts will be determined by the faculty members or the donor. These scholarships will be present each year depending on available funding. Nomination forms are electronic and once completed will be sent directly to the Foundation. You must be able to login to your MyGCSC account to access the nomination form.
- Log into your MyGCSC account
- Go to the GCSCNET link
- Go to Forms/Foundation
- Click on the Scholarship Award Nomination Form – Fund Selection link
- Complete and Submit
- Make sure you enter your scholarship $$$ award amount (contact the Foundation if necessary)
