Bacon Family Establishes Endowed Scholarship

Mr. A.J. Bacon, along with his wife, Ivy, recently endowed a scholarship that will benefit military members and their dependents. As alumnus of Gulf Coast State College, the Bacons desire for others to attend experience the value of a Gulf Coast State College education filled with hope and opportunities. “Gulf Coast will always be family to us.” shares A.J Bacon. ” Both Ivy and I believe that GCSC is a cornerstone for individual, family and community success.” Mr. Bacon is retired from the United State Air Force and has been serving on the Foundation Board of Directors since 2016.
