2020 High School Honors Scholarship Recipients Announced

Diversity Students Graduation Success Celebration Concept

The Gulf Coast State College's High School Honors Scholarship scoring and selection committee has announced the following high school seniors as honors scholarship recipients for 2020-2021:

  • Abigail Rosenthal - North Bay Haven Charter School
  • Amberley Bradberry - A. Crawford Mosley High School
  • Ethan Denaro - J.R. Arnold High School
  • Janna Jones - Wewahitchka High School
  • Jordan Moore - Wewahitchka High School
  • Kaylan Gunning - J.R. Arnold High School
  • Kristen Thompson - Wewahitchka High School
  • Mary Whitlock - A. Crawford Mosley High School
  • Michele Chen - Wewahitchka High School

The Foundation received over 65 high school honors scholarship applications this year. Recipients were selected based on essay question answers, weighted grade point averages and counselor recommendations. Each recipient will receive a scholarship in the amount of $1,890 per year. The scholarship will also be renewed for another year if the recipient chooses to stay at Gulf Coast State College.

A special thanks goes to the high school guidance counselors and advisers who assist high school seniors through the application process.
