Events

The Gulf Coast State College Foundation hosts two signature event fundraisers each year. These events help build support for Gulf Coast State College students and programs. Our events are open to the public and in all cases require event registration and donations.

Annual Dinner and Student Showcase. This spring event coincides with the Foundation’s annual business meeting. Over 500 donors and guests enjoy dinner and entertainment provided by the students attending Gulf Coast State College. The Culinary program provides guests with a wide variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres before the dinner. This event highlights the top donors and Heritage Society members who have given graciously over the years. In the past, the proceeds from the Annual Dinner have provided support for scholarship and grants to Gulf Coast State College students.

Annual Golf Tournament held at The Sharks Tooth Golf Club. This fall event is held at the private Sharks Tooth Gulf Club and hosts over 200 golfers each year. There is a pairings party the night before the tournament. In the past, the proceeds from the golf tournament have provided support for first generation students and military students attending Gulf Coast State College.

In addition, the Foundation hosts a variety of events during the year that help specific causes at the College. Our development staff welcomes you to attend any of our events. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Eldridge at [email protected] or (850) 769-1551 x6010.
